The Clare Valley has always been a hidden secret for weddings in SA, as many tend to gravitate towards the closer enclaves of the Barossa Valley and Mclaren Vale.

But for those willing to travel just a little bit further – one is treated to stunning heritage buildings and locations, surrounded by rolling vineyard hills, forests, and pastures. And of course, wedding venues that many had never been to or heard of before.

Patrick and Lorraine did exactly that, and entertained guests at a beautiful heritage setting on the estates of Koonowla Wines, with sandstone buildings and an outdoor swimming pool, to an 8-bedroom heritage homestead where the bridal party and families spent the weekend.
