A dream start to 2024, where a pre-wedding shoot resembles a fashion editorial while paying respect to an ethnic culture that is synonymous with South East Asia, in the mountains between Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar.
The Bride and Groom wore traditional Hmong hill tribe ceremonial clothing, to honour his background and heritage, and the Bride was also adorned in a traditional Chinese dress to pay respect to her family.
Ten months out from their big wedding day in Adelaide, the couple flew from Cairns and allowed me to execute my creative and cinematic vision – of something more akin to a movie scene or a fashion editorial, than a typical pre wedding shoot that is becoming common in Western countries.
