A Reflection of the 2021-2022 Season

I became teary, when the Singapore Airlines flight was about to land at Changi Airport, I looked down to the familiar view of one of the busiest seaports in the world, I knew the world was slowly coming back to normal. The familiar comfort of the announcements over the PA by the flight-attendant, to the in-flight food, to going over the mental checklist of my photography equipment I had packed for our first international photoshoot in two and a half years. The passport in my pocket felt like a dear friend that was absent for too long.

We were back, and nothing could stop us.

The normal wedding season in Australia runs from September to end of May each year, and for that period of time – we are not just photographers and videographers, but witnesses and guests to some of the most emotional and beautiful moments for many people’s lives and those connected to them. Moments we will never forget, as we create or capture them for our clients.

These are some of my favourite photographs from this wedding season, where we walked amongst sun-soaked vineyards and wheat-fields, to damp forests and mountainsides, to vibrant homes and colours of Afghani weddings, to towns steeped in heritage on the other side of the world, to the beaches and streets that we call home. The art we created for our clients is as unforgettable for them as it is for us.

As always, we will showcase a large gallery of our client’s weddings right after the wedding, because we want to maintain that high, those exuberant moments and feelings they had just experienced, or to see something special that we had seen through our lenses. Our style is always changing, for the pursuit and fusion of fashion and wedding photography, along with our client’s needs and inspirations. That is what we are known for, and it will never change.

After the winter break, our passports will take us to southern England, then onto central Vietnam – where we look forward to creating more art for our wedding clients, then to Sydney and also around our home city of Adelaide. There are no limits to what we can do with our clients, but only your imagination and boldness.

I take this opportunity to thank my core team of Lysa, Karl, Bronte and Jake. This is for you guys.

Have camera, will travel.
